Roy Klopping Enterprises

Hardie Manufacturing Company in Los Angeles started manufacturing the "19 Hardie Lawn Renovator" in 1946.    It was a lawnmower size heavy-duty durable piece of commercial equipment designed specifically for the professional turfgrass care industry.  

Frank and Roy Klopping purchased the Hardie Lawn Renovator business in 1973.  We manufactured the same basic machine until 2002 when our current tractor powered  PTO-60, 60" cut machine was introduced. 

Our PTO-60 60" Klopping-Hardie Sports Turf Resurfacing Machinel uses the same patented helical design of our original 1946 machines.

We are dedicated to building a "old school" piece of equipment that is built to last a lifetime with minimal maintenance.   

Sure, you can build a machine that weighs 400 or 500 pounds that you can call the same thing. Ours weighs over 1,100 pounds.

What Sets Us Apart?

We have been supplying comercial machinery to the turfgrass industry for over 65  years.  Our fast turning patented spiral helix reel, ultra fine cut with 5/8" blade spacing and 1/16" blade thickness produces debris with the consistency of sand.   Imagine one hundred individually retained blades in a 60" solid steel cutting reel.
